Report on Artificial Flower Making Event (Reduce, Refuse, Reuse and Recycle)

GGIS ATHA, Pimpri, Chinchwad & Rahtani  had arranged an Artificial Flower Making Event for the pre primary section on 22nd July 2017. The session was conducted in the respective classes. The sole objective of this workshop was to engage parents and their children in this creative activity and thus they spend quality time with each other. There was an overwhelming response from the parents. They were ready with innovative ideas and were enthralled to be a part of the event.

            Parent came up with many innovative ideas about how to make flowers from the waste materials. They used materials like plastic bottles, polythene bags, straws, disposable cups, glasses and plates, ribbons, mustard seeds, tea leaves, ice-cream sticks, newspapers, dry fruit shells, used beads etc. The final presentation was excellent.

Parents appreciated the entire GGIS staff and management for organizing the event. They were not only pleased but also eulogized the staff for giving an opportunity, as it was reminiscence of their childhood. They were delighted and look forward to be part of many more such events and to connect with their children.

The event was indeed success and laid emphasis on the concept of ‘Reduce, Refuse, Reuse and Recycle’.
